When Is Controversial Contract Of NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi Up?

One of the biggest posers in Nigeria Football today is – when is the contract of NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi (PICTURED) due to expire?

Sanusi has been Chief Executive of Nigeria Football since March 2015 and since then he has had his contract extended twice.

Some observers have insisted Sanusi’s time at the Sunday Dankaro Football House is up since last month and already some top officials at the secretariat including Director of communications Ademola Olajire are jostling to replace the Kebbi State-born administrator.

NFF President Ibrahim Gusau has told those around his circle that Sanusi’s contract will run till 2025, while the General Secretary himself has said he has a contract till December 2024.

As GS, Sanusi earns $10,000 (more than 12 million Naira) monthly and it explains why he is not in a hurry to quit the post any time soon and so will fancy another five-year extension.

Recently, he scampered all the way to the Speaker House of Assembly seeking “Executive Cover” to keep his juicy job.
