What Has Become Of Air Peace Sponsorship Of Super Eagles?
About a year or so ago, there was celebration that the Super Eagles have attracted an Air Peace sponsorship that will get the airline flying them for their away matches.
The contract was for three years and that means that it still subsists.
However, did you know that the NFF claimed they had to borrow Millions of Naira to pay another airline to fly the Super Eagles to a 2026 World Cup qualifier in Rwanda even with this Air Peace sponosrship?
The NFF paid Value Jet owned by Remo Stars owner Kunle Soname to fly the Super Eagles for a World Cup qualifier in Rwanda against Zimbabwe.
There has been no explanation for this and it only begs the question of what manner of sponsorships did Amaju Pinnick enter with several of these companies when he was NFF President.
As it is, with his most welcomed exit from the leadership of Nigeria Football most of these so-called sponsors like Aiteo and Zenith Bank have taken flight.
