Why Did NFF Not Declare The Correct Amount Of Cash In Air Peace Sponsorship?

In our continued series on how the NFF have been manipulating with audacity the sponsorship monies, www.insideglasshouse.com has shifted focus to the Air Peace commercial agreement signed this year with the football federation.

NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi informed the National Assembly in a budget defence presentation that what they are expecting from Air Peace as “official airline sponsor of Nigerian National teams” is 150 Million Naira and already the airline has paid up 100 Million Naira.

But various credible media outlets announced that the contract is for a year, renewable for four years and worth 200 Million Naira (NOT 150 Million Naira) with a separate value-in-kind in the worth of 100 Million Naira.

How then did 50 Million Naira from this deal suddenly develop wings?

Why has Sanusi again got his sums wrong?

www.insideglasshouse.com has already faulted his claims as regards two other sponsors – Coca-Cola and MTN.
