NFF Finance Cttee Chairman Dragged To Court Over Alleged Certificate Forgery

The Chairman of the NFF Finance Committee and a very close ally of the NFF President, Timothy Heman Magaji, has been dragged to court over alleged certificate forgery.

Heman has already been sacked by the Federal High Court Jalingo as Chairman of the Taraba Football Association.

The Taraba Sate University in Jalingo has instituted suit No CR/167/23 against Heman.

The NFF top shot has already appeared in court on this case, which is before Honourable Justice Jonah Chris at the Upper Area Court in Jalingo.

The Taraba University through its legal unit filed and charged Heman for forgery.

This followed a petition by one Sulaiman Adamu ‘Scatter’ to the ICPC Yola zonal office.

This was subsequent to a committee investigation set up by the Taraba Government to sanitize the civil service in the North Eastern State.

Heman allegedly claimed he obtained a first degree in accounting from the Taraba University in 2014 when in actual fact the institution did not offer this course until 2016.

www.insideglasshouse.com further learnt that the accused person only graduated from the university in 2019, this was possibly to cover his tracks after the lie that he did so five years earlier.

The weighty allegations against Heman, it was gathered, have already cost him the top post of Accountant General of Taraba State.

The criminal case has now been adjourned to January 8, 2024.
