Agent Threatens Court Action Against Super Eagles Coach Peseiro Over Failed Promise

The agent who helped Jose Peseiro (PICTURED) become the coach of the Super Eagles has threatened to take the Portuguese to court after he failed to pay him $84,000 as brokerage fee.

Jolly Okay Ogu, through his lawyer Chief Rumson Baribote, has demanded for the payment of this fee and failure to do so will force him to take the matter to court.

In a Demand Notice addressed to Peseiro and dated December 11, 2023, the agent said the coach agreed to pay him the said sum in October 2021 after he assisted in getting him the Super Eagles job.

He also said Peseiro paid him $3500 as part of this fee and as a result he is now asking the coach to settle the outstanding $80,500.

The notice was copied the NFF General Secretary.
