Wind Of Change Also Set To Sweep Through Osun FA

It will be another change of guards at the helm of affairs at the Osun Football Association as incumbent Mustapha Ajiroba is set to lose his seat to Shola Fanawopo in today’s polls.

Ajiroba, a traditional chief and a loyalist of former NFF 1st Vice President Seyi Akinwunmi, has been knocked by his critics for non-performance.

This is what will account for his defeat at the polls today.

Fanawopo, a club owner and a football grassroots promoter, will be expected to bring life to football in Osun State when he takes office as FA Chairman.

Already, another Akinwunmi loyalist, Tade Azeez, lost his bid to succeed his principal at the head of the Lagos FA.

A politician and former Secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Oki Ade, from Lagos West Senatorial District, is the new Chairman of Lagos.
