The petition headlined : ‘Six Years Concealment of Match-Fixing in Nigeria Professional Football League” referred to various official communications by the Club Owners that match-fixing has been rife in the top league.

The petition restated the fact that match-fixing is capable of destroying the fabric of Nigeria Football.

The PFAN first demanded the NFF investigate these allegations.

However, when the football federation failed to heed the ultimatum of the players’ union, it has now taken the matter to the anti-corruption agencies.
