Sanusi, Pinnick, NFF Electoral Committee To Defy Court Order Stopping Elections

NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi, former NFF President Amaju Pinnick (PICTURED) as well as the NFF Electoral Committee headed by a Pinnick crony are pushing mountains to ensure Elections to the NFF Executive Committee are conducted on Friday in Benin City.

This is despite the fact that the Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered that the Elections not to go ahead and world football governing body FIFA advised the NFF to dialogue with the aggrieved parties so as to find a way forward for Nigeria Football.

It was gathered that ballot papers have been produced, arrangements for accommodation and transportation in Benin City for officials and Congress delegates have been finalised and the main party will leave Abuja tomorrow.

Several of the leading candidates from the North, it was further gathered, have made their way to Southern Nigeria already.

Officials also claimed Edo State Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu has promised them a venue inside the Government House after two different groups have so far threatened to compromise security there.

“Elections will go ahead, nothing and nobody will stop us,” boasted a top official.

“Contempt of court? We will deal with that one after the Elections.”
