Pinnick Anointed Successor Shehu Dikko Picks Presidential Form To Sweep Aside Arrest Rumours
LMC Chairman and Amaju Pinnick’s anointed successor, Shehu Dikko (PICTURED with Pinnick, Seyi Akinwunmi), has finally picked up his nomination form for the NFF Presidency to lay to rest rumours that he did not so last week because he feared he will be arrested by one of the anti-corruption agencies.
Allegations of corruption are still hanging over his head, so too several other NFF top officials.
“Shehu has bought his form,” a top source simply informed.
“Last week the rumours were that he has yet to do so because he was apprehensive he could be arrested, but whatever be the case he has now damned the consequences.”
This will be the third time Shehu Dikko will contest for the NFF Presidency.
It is widely believed that he has been anointed by outgoing President Amaju Pinnick to succeed him after he campaigned vigorously for a tenure elongation for his friend till January next year.
Pinnick appointed Shehu Dikko LMC Chairman, which also gets him on the NFF Board as 2nd Vice President.
Shehu Dikko’s main ally is Ahmed Yusuf ‘Fresh , who has also thrown his hat in the ring to be the new Chairman of Chairmen.
