Pinnick Recruits Super Falcons To Push His Third Term Agenda

In most bizarre and unfortunate twist, Amaju Pinnick has enrolled the Super Falcons to sing his praise in yet another desperate attempt to get through his agenda for a third term as NFF President.

Is it not most ironic that two of the bloodiest pay strikes during Pinnick’s time in office were staged by the Super Falcons?

The first Falcons pay rumpus dragged for several weeks when the team were holed up in an Abuja hotel protesting they be paid outstanding bonuses and allowances soon after they won the 2016 WAFCON in Cameroon.

The Federal Government had to stomp up the cash, but coach Florence Omagbemi paid the price when her contract was not renewed.

For the second strike, the Falcons caused Nigeria an international embarrassment when they refused to quit their hotel in France after they had exited the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

They demanded for unpaid bonuses and allowances.

FIFA were forced to intervene.

This was also the same team that were inactive for close to a year and without a coach that Asisat Oshoala was forced to make public the frustration on social media.

And most recently the Falcons were humiliated by airport authorities at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja on their return from a crucial WAFCON qualifier I Cote d’Ivoire no thanks to the negligence of the NFF.

“The girls should be very ashamed of themselves to be used by Pinnick for his own personal ambitions even in the face of the hardship they have suffered during his administration,” a critic lashed out.

“They must really be suffering from a very bad memory disorder.”
