Amokachi ‘Da Bull’ Joins Scramble To Replace Pinnick As NFF President
Daniel ‘Da Bull’ Amokachi (PICTURED with Sports Minister Sunday Dare) is the latest ex-international who has his eyes on the high office of the NFF Presidency.
He has already told some of his close friends his ambition.
Amokachi is currently the Presidential Special Adviser on Sports even though many wonder what that post has done to move Nigeria sports since he was appointed.
‘Da Bull’ joins a growing list of ex-stars who now wish to pilot the affairs of Nigeria Football – Idah Peterside, Jonathan Akpoborie, Benedict Akwuegbu – probably inspired by what Samuel Eto’o has achieved in next-door Cameroon.
Ex-star Segun ‘Mathematical’ Odegbami has over the years made several failed attempts to lead Nigeria Football.
