Pinnick Gives FA Chairmen $1,000 Pocket Money Each, Others To Send Account Details

Embattled Amaju Pinnick has kick started his vote-buying machine, which has already won him two NFF Elections in 2014 and 2018, by giving a handful of State FA Chairmen who made the trip to Morocco for the 2022 WAFCON $1,000 each, while other FA Chairmen have been asked to send through their bank details for cash to be transferred to them.

It was learnt that Pinnick doled out $1,000 from “his pocket” to the FA Chairmen who met with him in Casablanca, Morocco, after he explained to them that the NFF had yet to receive funds from the FGN for the 2022 WAFCON.

And in another attempt to calm the frayed nerves of the FA Chairmen, who make up 37 of the 44-person Congress, the NFF have requested they send through their bank account details.

This is apparently in preparation for the General Assembly, which is most likely to finally take place on August 13 in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, during the Final of the Federation Cup.

Pinnick has lost the majority of NFF Congress in his desperate bid for a third term as NFF President.

He has admitted he is reluctant to convene an NFF Congress because he fears a vote of no confidence could be passed against him and he could eventually be impeached before his tenure runs out on September 20, 2022.
