Pinnick To Call Emergency NFF Executive Ctte Meeting To Move Against FA Chairmen Monday Deadline

Embattled Amaju Pinnick is expected to call an emergency NFF Executive Committee meeting to head off a Monday deadline given by the 28 FA State Chairmen for a General Assembly to be organised.

The majority FA Chairmen has formally notified the NFF for a General Assembly to move the football federation forward notwithstanding a court case in Bayelsa State.

Several of the Executive Committee members are already in the USA with the Super Eagles – Vice President Seyi Akinwunmi, Ibrahim Gusau and NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi.

It is not known whether Pinnick will also make his way to the USA as well, but NFF 2nd Vice President Shehu Dikko and Ahmed Yusuf ‘Fresh’ will not be there after they were denied entry visas.

At a point of this latest saga, Pinnick wanted the NFF to ignore the notice of the FA Chairmen, but he has been advised by both the secretariat and his inner circle to meet up the challenge head on.

The embattled NFF President has denounced the likes of Rivers State FA Chairman Chris Green, who are believed to be behind the latest move to oust his administration before their mandate is up in September.

Pinnick has personally called up many of these FA Chairmen to sternly warn them not to trust Green, who he accused of charting a personal and selfish agenda.
