EXPOSED! NFF Technical Committee Didn’t Meet On New Super Eagles Coach

NFF Technical Sub-Committee member Aminu Kurfi ‘Balele’ is threatening hell and brimstone after it emerged that the committee never met to decide on the appointment of Jose Peseiro as the new coach of the Super Eagles.

On Wednesday, the NFF announced that Peseiro has been appointed as the Eagles coach to replace Gernot Rohr, who was fired recently.

The NFF communiqué said the appointment was based on the recommendation of the technical committee chairman.

But further checks showed that the technical committee headed by Ahmed Yusuf ‘Fresh’ did not meet on the appointment of a new coach for the Super Eagles.

This should not come as a surprise because the committee has hardly met since ‘Fresh’ took charge.

A furious ‘Balele’, who is also the Katsina FA Chairman, has called for a complete overhaul of Nigeria Football after arguing that the system is not working.

The outspoken former Katsina United chairman has been known to be sympathetic to the Amaju Pinnick leadership and hence his appointment to the technical committee.

But Pinnick’s one-man show as it concerns the appointment of Peseiro has now certainly drawn the wrath of ‘Balele’.
