Ex-NFF President Lulu Takes Major Step In 1.5 Billion Naira Compensation Bid Against FGN

Sani Lulu (PICTURED) has been granted the right by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja to serve defendants the Federal Ministry of Sports, NFF, former Sports Minister Ibrahim Bio and Patrick  Ekeji through substituted means in his bid for a 1.5 Billion Naira compensation after he claimed he was removed as NFF President “unlawfully and illegally”.

Lulu, along with former NFF 1st Vice President Uche Uchegbulam, is seeking compensation for damages caused by his removal from office which also led to a corruption trial, which began in 2010.

Lulu and other accused NFF officials including the late Taiwo Ogunjobi were later cleared of these charges.
