Rohr: I Am Too Decent To Talk About Pinnick’s Personal Life Even Though I Know A Lot

Gernot Rohr (PICTURED with Pinnick) has hit back at former NFF President Amaju Pinnick, who alleged that the former Super Eagles coach sexually abused minors in his time in Nigeria as well as when he was in Gabon and Niger Republic.

Rohr told journalist Osasu Obayiuwana: “I was very disappointed that he could say such a thing about me. It was not decent.

“I know a lot of things about @PinnickAmaju’s personal life. But as someone raised decently, and correctly, I cannot speak about them.”

Rohr said he enjoyed a good working relationship with Pinnick in the five years he was in charge of the Super Eagles.

However, he noted the relationship his last month as the country’s coach was “difficult”.

The experienced coach was sacked in December 2021 after he qualified the Eagles to the final playoffs for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Nigeria under Augustine Eguavoen will eventually fail to qualify for Qatar 2022.
