PFAN Insists On Reforms As Union Meets NFF Congress Reps Out Of Court

The players’ union PFAN has insisted there is no going back on reforms in Nigeria Football, which will include equal representation at both the NFF Executive Committee and NFF Congress, while also opening out-of-court discussions with representatives of the NFF Congress.

This information is contained in a statement signed by the PFAN Task Force Chairman Harrison Jalla today.

The Appeal Court proceedings have continued just as the NFF have initiated an out-of-court settlement, which is known as Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

The first meeting of the two parties took place on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Reno Hotel in Abuja.

PFAN was represented by (1) Tijani Babangida (PFAN President) (PICTURED) (2) Edema Fuludu (DGS PFAN) (3) Chief Rumson Victor Baribote (Chairman Bayelsa State PFAN chapter and National legal Adviser PFAN) (4) Dr Brown Louis Ogbeifun (Chairman Delta State PFAN chapter).

NFF were led by (1) Aminu Kurfi ” DAN AREWA” (Chairman Katsina State FA) (2) Barrister Poubeni Ogun ( Chairman Bayelsa state FA) (3) Yakubu Sarma (Chairman Gombe State FA).

Jalla said this ongoing arbitration process can only vitiate all the ongoing court proceedings if demands for reforms are met within the short time frame designated by the ADR.
