ICPC Still Investigating Pinnick, Akinwunmi, Ahmed Yusuf ‘Fresh’, Sanusi

Anti-corruption agency ICPC has said its investigations of top football officials led by former NFF President Amaju Pinnick (PICTURED) is ongoing.

Shehu Dikko, Seyi Akinwunmi, Ahmed Yusuf ‘Fresh’ as well as NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi are the other officials who have been investigated for the past three years by ICPC.

Last month, the anti-graft agency seized permanently the Abuja house of Shehu Dikko after it was previously under interim forfeiture.

It said the value of the property was far in excess of the earnings of the former LMC Chairman and NFF 2nd Vice President.

ICPC officials said the agency is still investigating the officials even though they all denied any wrongdoing.

The agency said it remains resolute in its investigations.

It is alleged that as much as 30 Billion Naira meant for the development of football in Nigeria has in the past eight years been stolen by officials.
