Desperate NFF Officials Shop For ‘Jankara’ Order For Elections To Go Ahead
Several desperate officials representing the NFF have been all over Abuja shopping for an illegal court order induced by heavy cash popularly referred to as Jankara order to ensure the NFF Elections go ahead as planned on Friday in Benin.
One of the officials, an FA Chairman from the North East, was sighted at Court 3 of the Federal High Court in Abuja Tuesday with “a bulging envelope” apparently trying to see how he could by any means necessary vacate the injunction against Friday’s Elective Congress.
It was further gathered that a top official of the NFF Electoral Committee is also exploring how the Appeals Court could overturn this injunction.
It must be noted that besides the Federal High Court Abuja order, there is now also another injunction against the NFF Congress obtained from the Federal High Court in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
It was the order that stopped the NFF AGA in Lagos in December 2021 and it is alive again after the litigant withdrew the Notice of Discontinuance he filed.
