WAY FORWARD FOR NPFL: Club Owners Meet Sports Minister

Top officials of the 20 NPFL clubs will later today meet with Sports Minister Sunday Dare to deliberate on the ways to move the country’s top league forward.

Owner of Remo Stars, Kunle Soname, (PICTURED) is expected to attend this crucial meeting.

The meeting is fixed for 4pm in Abuja.

The NPFL has suffered from dearth of sponsors, terrible working conditions for both players and coaches, lack of local interest as well as various issues of integrity in the last few years.

Various questions have been asked about the role of the League Management Company (LMC) leading to the deplorable state of the country’s top league.
