FCT FA Chairman Mouktar Mohammed Decides On NFF Presidential Ambition

The inner circle of FCT FA Chairman Mouktar Mohammed (PICTURED) has advised he should go all out for the NFF Presidency and it is believed that the man himself will take a firm decision after more consultations with critical Stakeholders.

He has already met with several NFF Presidential aspirants, while at least three former NFF Presidents have personally backed him to succeed Amaju Pinnick so as to spearhead a new lease of life that Nigeria Football so badly needs.

“He is a breath of fresh air, vibrant and full of ideas,” a source close to him remarked.

“Besides his great passion for the sport, he is his own man, who has put his money where his mouth is.”

A successful businessman, Mouktar Mohammed has a large war chest, the right connections in Government and has aligned with the ‘Concerned FA Chairmen’, who pushed for the NFF Executive Committee to convene the recent General Assembly in Lagos and for Elections to be conducted next month against the wishes of the incumbent Pinnick.

He will run for the top position in Nigeria Football on competence and the remarkable repositioning of football in the Federal Capital Territory in the three years he has been at the helm.

Mouktar Mohammed was instrumental in the renovation of the Bwari Stadium, which will soon be commissioned after it has been fitted with a state-of-the-art synthetic pitch.
