Sports Minister Meets NFF Presidential Aspirants, To Brief President Buhari

Sports Minister Sunday Dare has met with all the 11 NFF Presidential aspirants in Abuja (PICTURE) and he will brief President Muhammadu Buhari as regards the NFF Elections, which the football federation want to conduct in Benin City on Friday despite a court order and security fears.

It was a well-attended meeting with both Ibrahim Gusau and Shehu Dikko accompanied by heavily armed security convoys.

It was a cordial meeting behind closed doors and aspirants were allowed to ask the Minister questions pertaining to the Elections.

“It was a good meeting,” said FCT FA Chairman and Presidential aspirant Adam Mouktar Mohammed after the parley.

“We hope for a credible process and at the end of the day we will all accept the outcome of the Elections.”

“It was heart-to-heart discussion, there was no rancor,” added another Presidential aspirant, Seyi Akinwunmi.
