Gusau Launches NFF Presidential Bid In Zamfara

Chairman of Chairmen and Zamfara FA Chairman Ibrahim Gusau today launched his bid to be the next President of the NFF at his constituency.

Gusau said he owed his constituents the honour to formally announce his ambition to them as he is in office through their mandate.  

The Chairman NFF Security Committee said that after wide consultations with critical football Stakeholders, he has decided to contest for Nigeria Football top post.  

Gusau, who is currently a member of the CAF Youth Organising Committee, to bring his wealth of experience to bear on the growth of football in the country with youth football and grassroots development top priorities of his administration.  

He is the leading aspirant based on his popularity in the Congress as he enjoys good support in the North and has built alliances in both the South West and South South.

The experienced civil servant played a key role in the re-election of Amaju Pinnick in 2018 in Katsina.

 The NFF Elections are fixed for September 30 in Benin City.
