Shehu Dikko: They Told Lies Against Me And Now I’m Frozen Out Of Aso Rock Presidential Villa
As the countdown to next month’s NFF Elections approaches thick and fast, LMC Chairman Shehu Dikko (PICTURED), who has declared his interest to replace Amaju Pinnick as NFF President, has been running from pillar to post to sell his candidacy to the Presidency.
Dikko, who has destroyed whatever is left of the NPFL as a brand as the arrowhead of the league organisers, has lamented to close associates he no longer enjoys access to the Aso Rock Presidential Villa after all manner of lies were told against his person by detractors.
“Shehu is very much in pains that he has been frozen out of the Villa after all sorts of lies were spoken against him,” a source revealed.
“This is even the more damaging because he has always hoped to get to the Presidency to sell himself as the man capable of rescuing Nigeria Football and now he cannot do so.”
Shehu Dikko used the weekend to try and break through the wall mounted against him at the Villa and that included a frantic effort for private audience with President Muhammadu Buhari’s influential uncle Maman Daura.
He wants to clear his “good” name as well as tell Government top officials that Sports Minister Sunday Dare should steer clear of interfering with the NFF Elections in Benin City.
