HARRISON JALLA PERSPECTIVE: Drogba’s Failure To Emerge Cote d’Ivoire FA Boss Catalyst To Step Up Struggle To Liberate African Football

It is only a sick country that would waste the experience and exposure of a legend like Didier Drogba (PICTURED, right) and unfortunately Cote d’Ivoire is one of such countries in Africa.

Great African legends like Drogba must not drop their guards, but continue the struggle until African Football is fully liberated.

Professional footballers of African descent today no doubt make the difference in the best leagues in the world, In England, in France, in Italy and Spain.

The 2018 world Cup hosted by Russia was practically won by African players who took French citizenship.

The systemic wall of skewed football statutes in African Football Federations against the interest of the African Footballers bloc must be pulled down at all costs.

It’s same barrier that has been a huge blockade to Didier Drogba’s emergence as President of the Cote d’Ivoire Football Federation.

Didier Drogba, thank you for the attempt to offer yourself for the service to move your country’s football forward, but do not stop, please keep trying again and again until victory is achieved.

African Football legends in Europe must return home to change the face of African Football.

Nigeria has a huge role to play in this regard.

The revolution to liberate African Football has started in Nigeria, the biggest black nation in the world, richly endowed in natural talent in the game of football by way of a peaceful protest march as a civil action.
