Wind Of Change Sweeps Through African Football Since March 12

African Football governance is undergoing serious changes, whether good or bad, since a new CAF Executive was installed by world football body FIFA President Gianni Infantino on March 12, 2021, in Morocco.

Here are some of the changes that have taken place since that day in Morocco when FIFA officially hijacked African Football –

1.Guinea – Normalization Committee

2.Algeria – New FA President

3.Cote d’Ivoire – Normalization Committee

4. DRC – Acting FA President

5. Cameroon – New FA President

6.Sudan – New FA President

7.South Sudan – New FA President

8. Rwanda – New FA President

9. Kenya  – Normalization Committee

10. Zimbabwe – FA Disbanded

11. Namibia – Executive Committee Suspended, General Secretary In Charge

12. Somalia – President Suspended, General Secretary In Charge

13. Djibouti – FA President  Problems With Government?

14. Tunisia – Criminal Case Against  FA President

15. Morocco – FA President Appointed Government Minister, Resignation Should Follow
