Pinnick Stages Counter Protest In His Support

A protest march in support of embattled NFF President Amaju Pinnick was staged today at the NFF head office in Abuja.

A score of protesters wearing t-shirts with the portrait of Pinnick stormed the NFF office Monday morning to demand the NFF President stays put in the office despite the failure of the Super Eagles to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

“Pinnick Going Nowhere”, “Pinnick Is A Goal!” and “Pinnick Has Moved Nigeria Football Forward” were some of the inscriptions on the placards the supporters displayed.

There were also coloured posters pasted on the NFF office wall with Pinnick’s photo.

It would be recalled that last week, the Task Force on Project 2022 staged a successful protest in the heart of the capital city of Abuja demanding for the resignation of Pinnick and his entire NFF Executive Committee on the back of the many failures their administration has caused Nigeria Football.
