FA Chairmen Move To Impeach Disgraced Amaju Pinnick

Several State FA Chairmen have now set in motion the machinery to impeach NFF President Amaju Pinnick after Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

www.insideglasshouse.com can exclusively report that the FA Chairmen of Gombe, Ekiti, Rivers and Kwara are spearheading this latest move to topple Pinnick.

However, those pushing for this impeachment may be constraint by the multiple protocols needed to topple the NFF President this way as well as whether they could muster the number to sack him should it come down to a vote.

For them to achieve their aim, one – fifth of the members of NFF must make a request to the Executive Committee to convene an Extra- Ordinary General Assembly. The request shall also specify the items for agenda.

An Extra- Ordinary General Assembly shall therefore be held within three months of receipt of the request. In a situation where the Requested Extra – Ordinary General Assembly is not convened, the Members who requested it may convene the General Assembly themselves.

Furthermore, decisions passed by the General Assembly shall be valid if the absolute majority ( 50 + 1 ) of the members who are entitled to vote are represented.

A simple majority, which in this case is 23 Members, will vote to impeach the person in question.
