NFF Overrule Shehu Dikko On Owumi Appointment As LMC CEO

www.insideglasshouse.com can exclusively report that the NFF have ordered LMC Chairman and NFF 2nd Vice President Shehu Dikko to without further delay formally accept the appointment of Davidson Owumi as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LMC.

These followed a series of meetings between NFF executives with Shehu Dikko as well as Owumi.

Shehu Dikko has made it a personal issue to stop Owumi coming on board to the LMC after claiming the ex-international is associated with Total Promotions, a company that is presently in court with the league organisers.

Dikko also took exception to Owumi’s appointment because he is close to many of the critics of the LMC so much so that he vowed that Enugu Rangers GM will also resume in LMC “over his dead body”.

However, NFF officials dismissed these points by the LMC boss as “non-issues”.

“Sponsors demand Owumi resume at the LMC and if not, they will not support the league and you are busy arguing over nothing when you don’t have the sponsors or the money to start the new league season,” one of the NFF Excos complained loudly.

A meeting of LMC directors has now taken place as it concerns Owumi with CEO-designate as a special guest at the Budweiser/La Liga event in Lagos this weekend.

Both men even posed for photos side-by-side (PICTURED).

“We don’t have a choice but to agree for Owumi to come in,” a disappointed LMC Director told a close friend.

Owumi was designated CEO of the LMC by the NFF since October 2020.
