NFF ELECTIONS: Aisha Falode To Be Or Not To Be?

Chairperson of the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL), Aisha Falode, (PICTURED) is seriously fighting for her political life.

She was appointed to lead the women’s league and that explains her being on the NFF Executive Committee.

But the big poser now is how does she keep her place with the Excos?

To navigate the serious opposition she faces from the club owners of the NWFL, the one-time TV journalist has purchased a nomination form for a seat on the NFF Executive Committee.

But that is where her problems begin as she is not likely to be endorsed by her home state, Edo State,  as the FA Chairman himself, Roland Abu, is also interested in getting on the NFF Executive Committee.

She will be disqualified from the Elections should she fail to get this endorsement.

This will certainly cut short her time as a football administrator after she has enjoyed the support of outgoing NFF President Amaju Pinnick even if privately she is not his biggest fan.
