CHAN EAGLES: How Not To Treat A National Team

The NFF have certainly outdone themselves as per their usual style of maltreating the various national teams with the latest case of the CHAN Eagles.

Coach Salisu Yusuf has always been an establishment man, but for him to come out and say before the decisive return leg match against Ghana that his team were abandoned underlines how piss-poorly they were treated by the NFF.

As always, preparations were far from adequate leading up to the 2023 CHAN final playoffs against rivals Ghana and now it has come out in the open that the players did not receive any cash all through their failed campaign.

The height of the maltreatment this national team faced was when they were literally thrown out of their Abuja hotel soon after they crashed out on penalties to the Black Galaxies of Ghana.
