Will Pinnick Call For NFF Congress August 13 In Bayelsa?

There are strong indications that despite his fears he will be impeached as NFF President, Amaju Pinnick will finally convene an NFF Congress on August 13 in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

This will coincide with the Federation Cup Final in Bayelsa State, officials told www.insideglasshouse.com

‘Concerned FA Chairmen’, who make up a majority of the NFF Congress, have demanded for a Congress after litigants that stopped such a meeting in December 2021 applied to suspend their action.

The Chairmen want the Congress to prepare grounds for Elections into the NFF Executive Committee.

The FA Chairmen have already put the NFF on notice for a Congress since May and will be within the NFF Statutes to convene one themselves should the Executives failed to do so within three months of this notification.

September 20, 2022, is the terminal date of the Pinnick administration.
