Ibrahim Gusau Tells Pinnick: I Will Run For NFF Presidency

Zamfara FA Chairman and Chairman of Chairmen Ibrahim Gusau (PICTURED) has told close ally and incumbent President Amaju Pinnick he will run for the NFF Presidency next year.

This will go down as a major highlight in the build-up to the NFF Elections slated for September 2022 as Gusau’s support was crucial in Pinnick returning to office in Katsina in 2018.

www.insideglasshouse.com was informed by several sources that Gusau, who has widely been regarded as the hatchet man for Pinnick, told the NFF President of his own presidential ambition.

It was gathered that before the Katsina polls, Pinnick even made a promise to the Zamfara FA boss he will support his own ambition to head the NFF after he has completed his second term in office.

Gusau enjoys support in the NFF Congress across the country even though the North remains his strong hold.

It has also been reported that he could now run on a joint ticket with Rivers State FA Chairman Chris Green as his Vice-President.

Both men recently met in Kano along with about a dozen other State FA bosses all from the North.

However, questions have been asked about the cash he would have to put together to make his dream come true as well as his capacity.
