Ex-NFF General Secretary Sani Toro, Former National Coach Garba Ila Kidnapped

Former NFF General Secretary Sani Ahmed Toro and a former national coach Garba Ila have been kidnapped along the Abuja-Jos road.
Spokesman for NPFL side Wikki Tourists confirmed the abduction late Saturday.
Both men were guests of former NFF President Aminu Maigari at his son’s wedding in Abuja Friday.
Toro served as commissioner in Bauchi State and was also a member of the Federal House of Representatives.
He is remembered as a hard working football technocrat, who discharged his duties with a lot of enthusiasm.
He headed the NFF secretariat during the country’s Golden Era in the mid-90s.
