‘Rebel’ FA Chairmen Plot Next Action After Meeting NFF Executives, Take Exception To Pinnick Threats

The majority 28 State FA Chairmen, who plan to oust Amaju Pinnick as NFF President, will in the new week decide on their next line of action after they met with NFF Executives Friday night in Abuja.

NFF Executives were represented by 2nd Vice President Shehu Dikko as well as fellow executives Ibrahim Gusau, Felix Anyansi Agwu and Ahmed Yusuf ‘Fresh’.

NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi was conspicuously missing from the parley after he was earlier billed to attend.

The NFF representatives informed the representatives of the Chairmen on the efforts that have so far been made to vacate the Federal High Court order that has prevented the NFF meeting as one body since December 2021.

The Chairmen, on their own part, said they have taken note of the NFF presentation on this matter and will make their own findings before they revert to the Executives.

The Chairmen, www.insideglasshouse.com further learnt, will consult with various interest groups in Abuja in the new week before they chart their next course of action.

In the meantime, the Chairmen have taken serious exception to the threats, harassment and abuse Imo State FA Chairman Mazi Amanze Uchegbulam as well as the Edo State FA boss, Roland Abu, have been subjected to by President Pinnick  on account of their position.

Pinnick refused to meet with the Chairmen, instead he was organising a comedy show in his hometown of Warri.

It was further gathered that they barred Kwara FA Chairman Idris Abdullahi aka ‘Thuraya” from being part of the parley because they doubt his sincerity to their cause.

He was recently on the Super Eagles trip to Morocco sponsored by the NFF and his colleagues have now accused him of being a mole.
