NFF Excos Approve Expanded Sub Committee Membership

The NFF Executive Committee has approved for the sub-committees to now have seven members as against the five stipulated by the NFF Statutes.

www.insideglasshouse.com gathered that this was one of the highlights the NFF Board took  at Wednesday’s meeting in Asaba.

However, it is left to be seen whether the Board will now seek the endorsement of the NFF Congress before expanding these committees as it does not have the power to do so without recourse to the Congress.

The expansion of the committees may not be unconnected with the clamour by Major Stakeholders to be part of the running of the football federation and the need to have more representative think tanks.

So far only the Disciplinary and Appeals Committees have been inaugurated by the NFF led by President Ibrahim Gusau.

The committees include the Technical, Finance, Establishment, Marketing as well as that of Media and Publicity.
