Even now out of office as NFF President Amaju Pinnick (PICTURED) has remained boastful with his latest Big Boast being that his successor, Ibrahim Gusau, cannot succeed without his support and as such the new football boss will keep running back to him.

This comes as Pinnick has now arranged to next week accompany Gusau on a visit to two sponsors as the NFF shop desperately for funds to clear a mountain of debts of over Two Billion Naira he left behind as well as for the football federation to carry out their programmes.

“Pinnick has told his people that Gusau and the new NFF Board will keep running back to him for help because they do not have the capacity to get the job done,” a top source told www.insideglasshouse.com

Besides questions over his capacity, Gusau faces a Herculean task of clearing the huge debts he inherited from his predecessor as the federation’s revenues have taken a big hit after the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Pinnick has long told whoever cares to listen that as a Member of both CAF Executive Committee and FIFA Council, he will play the Big Brother to the NFF even after he was practically forced out of The Glasshouse.

He has always maintained that he cannot see the man of substance to run the NFF like he did in the last eight years.
