Former international midfielder Karibe Ojigwe stirred a huge row at the NFF Electoral Committee office in Abuja when he refused to pay cash for a nomination form for the NFF Elections by insisting on a money transfer.

Secretariat staff at the Electoral Committee office said they were collecting cash because of time constraints.

“It was a huge and rowdy drama,” an eye witness disclosed.

“Normalcy was only restored when Ojigwe finally agreed to pay cash.”

Abia State Commissioner for Sports Ojigwe is gunning for a seat on the NFF Executive Committee as more former internationals join the race to be at the helm of Nigeria Football.
