The NFF have disclosed they already have a five-year development plan for Nigeria Football and it will only amount to a duplication for anybody to now attempt to design a 10-year development plan for the same Nigeria Football.

Zamfara FA Chairman and Chairman of Chairmen Ibrahim Gusau (PICTURED) made the disclosure when he appeared before the Master Plan Committee appointed by Sports Minister Sunday Dare on the personal request of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Gusau promised to submit the five-year development plan to the committee soon.

It would be recalled that the NFF leadership and majority of the State FA Chairmen have been most uncomfortable with the Master Plan Committee after alleging they were not adequately represented on the committee and that the Ibrahim Galadima-led committee may have a personal agenda against top NFF officials.

Imo State FA Chairman Amanze Uchegbulam, for one, turned down an invitation by the Master Plan Committee to propose the way forward for Nigeria Football, arguing that the committee is a direct Government interference, which could be seriously sanctioned by FIFA.
