NFF Order State FAs To Conduct Local Council Polls

The NFF have ordered State FAs to conduct Local Council Polls between this month and March 2023.

In a memo to the 37 State FAs, the NFF said credible Elections be staged and the names of the elected officials forwarded to the NFF General Secretary.

However, in the case that some of these FAs have already conducted these Elections, the names of duly elected officials should also be transmitted to the Secretariat.

The Ondo and FCT FAs are known to have conducted such polls and their tenure has not yet ran out.

The Local Council polls are the prelude to the State FA Elections.
