Abba Yola Quits As Minister’s Chief Of Staff After NFF Elections Palaver

www.insideglasshouse.com can exclusively report that Abba Yola (PICTURED) has quit as Chief of Staff to Sports Minister Sunday Dare just days after questions were asked about his conduct as it concerns the NFF Elections in Benin City.

“Abba Yola has resigned,” a source simply revealed but did not give more details.

However, it was alleged that the Minister was not particularly happy with how his top aide headed to Benin for the Elections, where he contested for the NFF Presidency, even after a warning from the Sports Ministry that the polls should not take place due to a court injunction.

It was further gathered that the experienced technocrat needed to justify the huge cash gift of 120 Million Naira he received from Kano State Governor Umar Ganduje, who also ordered Kano FA Chairman Sharif Rabiu Inuwa to vote for him at the Elections.

Yesterday, Abba Yola received a vote most likely from the Kano FA Chairman as arranged.

He scored zero votes when he contested for the NFF Presidency eight years ago.
