Sports Minister Meets NFF Presidential Aspirants
Sports Minister Sunday Dare (PICTURED) has invited all the aspirants for the NFF Presidency for a meeting in Abuja Tuesday.
In an invitation letter signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Sports Ministry Ismaila Abubakar and dated September 23, 2022, all the aspirants are expected at the Honourable Minister’s conference room at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja by 4pm.
An agenda for this meeting was not stated.
The 11 aspirants to replace Amaju Pinnick are Seyi Akinwunmi, Ibrahim Gusau, Shehu Dikko, Sulaiman Yahaya Kwande, Amanze Uchegbulam, Adam Mouktar Mohammed, Musa Amadu, Christian Emeruwa, Peterside Idah, Abba Yola and David Doherty.
This is the biggest field of contestants ever for the country’s top football job.
The Sports Ministry supervises the NFF.
