PFAN Task Force Petitions FIFA, CAF Over NFF Electoral Committee Members With Close Ties To Pinnick

The Task Force of the players Union PFAN has petitioned the NFF and copied FIFA, CAF, NBA and Sports Minister Sunday Dare over two members of the NFF Electoral Committee including its Chairman over their relationship with outgoing NFF President Amaju Pinnick as this presents a serious case of conflict of interest.

Electoral Chairman AA Malik is a partner of Pinnick’s personal lawyer, while another member, Rumson Ariyo, is a lawyer to the Warri Traditional Council as well as a brother to the outgoing NFF President.

The players union has therefore demanded for the immediate resignation of Chairman Malik as well as Ariyo.

“Both of them should resign on the grounds of conflict of interest. This is unethical and therefore unacceptable,” read the petition in part signed by deputy General Secretary Edema Fuludu.

The union had earlier demanded for the immediate resignation of the Electoral Committee members.
