Kwara FA Chairman Proclaims Himself Sarkin Yaki (Warrior King) Of Amaju Pinnick
In politics, they say, there are no permanent friends or enemies, only permanent interests.
That is the case with Kwara FA Chairman Idris Musa ‘Turaya’ (PICTURED in white gown) and NFF President Amaju Pinnick.
On Thursday, ‘Turaya’ went before the entire NFF Congress to without any prompting nickname himself Sarkin Yaki Amaju Pinnick, which in Hausa literally means the Warrior King for Amaju Pinnick.
Flashback a year ago, when this same man led the Kwara mutiny and called the same Pinnick the most unprintable names, while threatening to drag Nigeria Football to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) after they felt Kwara United were cheated out of a continental ticket.
The Kwara FA Chairman and at a time among the ‘Concerned FA Chairmen’ today has every reason to celebrate his one-time Nemesis after he now gifted the same Kwara United a continental ticket on a platter.
The interest of the man has been well served even if it were through the back door…
