PFAN: No NFF Elections Before Statutes Amendment

The PFAN Task Force has warned Elections into the NFF Executive Committee fixed for September 30, 2022, in Benin City will not be feasible unless the 2010 NFF Statutes was amended for a fairer representation in the Congress and Board.

“The position of the PFAN Task Force remains that the September 30th 2022 Election is only feasible if amendment are made to relevant sections of the NFF Statutes to accommodate equal and fair representation in the composition of the Executive Board, Congress and Sub/Standing Committees of the NFF,” said PFAN Task Force Chairman Harrison Jalla (PICTURED).

“It would be another inglorious and disastrous journey if the current structure of 37 States FA Chairmen reproduces itself as a new NFF Executive Board.

“The Footballers bloc dully represented by the PFAN Task Force will never allow that to happen.”

Jalla insisted that amending the Statutes does not require the time some Stakeholders say.

“There is no rocket science in the amendment that can’t be done in one sitting,” he maintained.

PFAN has lodged a case in the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja in respect to an equitable representation in both the NFF Congress and Executive Committee.
