NFF Send Out Notice For Emergency General Assembly August 16

After a lot of foot dragging, the NFF have finally sent out a notice for an Emergency General Assembly in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, on August 16.

The notice dated August 8, 2022, was signed on behalf of NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi and addressed to all NFF Congress delegates.

The notice stipulated that the agenda will be the same as that of the Annual General Assembly that was slated for December 17 in Lagos, but was aborted on account of a court order.

This will include the NFF financial statement and approval of the federation’s annual budget.

This latest development could cause the litigants of the case that aborted the AGA in December to withdraw the motion to discontinue the matter.

This is because they prefer for the FA Chairmen and not the NFF Executive Committee to call for this General Assembly.
