Olapade Warns Sponsors To Abandon NFF If Pinnick Off The Scene
NFF marketing agent Bukola Olapade (PICTURED) is one of the top backers for Amaju Pinnick Third Term ambition so much so he has warned that without the NFF President sponsors will cut their ties with the cash-strapped football federation.
It is most probably a case of putting your money where your mouth is as Olapade and his company Nilayo Sports Management have flourished during Pinnick’s eight years at the helm of Nigeria Football.
What do you expect when you get a tidy 20% cut on any sponsorship you source for the NFF?
His company also got as much as 100 Million Naira for brokering the BetNaija deal for the NPFL.
Such is Olapade’s conviction for the Pinnick bid that he is ready to work for him at the expense of kinsman and 1st Vice President Seyi Akinwunmi, who is also interested in the hot seat.
But it is also a known fact that even before next month’s terminal date of the Pinnick administration, the NFF have already lost several of their sponsors like Aiteo and Coca-Cola.
Lack of success on the pitch and accountability in the office have accounted for the dwindling interest by corporate Nigeria.
