Pinnick Boasts Support Of Sultan Of Sokoto, CAN, 3 Governors To Remain NFF President

Even though top Government officials have made it clear to Amaju Pinnick (PICTURED) that they do not expect him to be on the ballot for the next NFF Elections, he will do next to anything to remain as NFF President that he has now sought the support of the Sultan of Sokoto, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) as well as the Governors of Kwara, Oyo and Bayelsa States.

“Amaju is fighting back, he wishes to contest again,” a long-serving NFF Executive disclosed.

Pinnick has led Nigeria Football from one disaster to the other in the last eight years, but for his personal and selfish interests, he is gunning for a third term as NFF President contrary to an earlier declaration by him that he will not do so.

On Wednesday night, he met with the Sultan of Sokoto in Abuja accompanied by various Stakeholders including Shehu Dikko, Mohammed Sanusi, Sulaiman Kwande, Ahmed Yusuf ‘Fresh’, Chikelue Iloenyosi and Ibrahim Alkali.

Pinnick is already known to have used traditional rulers and religious leaders to avert corruption trial.
