Pinnick’s Family And Household Join The Jamboree In Morocco As Super Falcons Ask Where Is Cash

If there was a need for another proof that Amaju Pinnick has turned the NFF into his personal estate, it could be underlined by the fact that his family – wife and children – flew business Class today with the destination being Morocco.

The Pinnicks accompanied by friends flew out early morning from Lagos to Morocco.

They will be expected to attend tonight’s CAF Awards.

The family and personal friends are part of a 220-strong motley crew that include FA Chairmen, secretariat staff and Government officials, who have found their way to Morocco to be part of the WAFCON.

This comes against the background that the Super Falcons are again on the war path with the NFF over unpaid bonuses for the 2022 WAFCON.

The Falcons have been widely praised for the Naija spirit they displayed against host country Morocco in the WAFCON semifinal, which they eventually lost on penalties after holding out with nine players for a good part of the encounter.

“Instead of spending the money on the team, the little cash is being lavished on people who have nothing to contribute to the success of the girls in Morocco,” a top official lamented.

The Super Falcons protested the non-payment of $10,000 bonus and other allowances by boycotting training Wednesday.

They have now each received $1,000.
