LMC Top Shot Tries To Fix Disciplinary Decisions In Favour of Kano Pillars

Sources at the NFF have revealed that a highly-placed official of the LMC has attempted to manipulate the decisions of the NFF Disciplinary Committee in favour of relegation-troubled Kano Pillars.

The top LMC official tried this week to alter the composition of the Disciplinary Committee so as to favour Pillars.

Critics have taken a swipe at the LMC for often taking sides with Pillars, one of the traditional clubs in Nigeria, even when they caused serious damage to the league.

With only two rounds of matches left to the end of the season, Pillars are just a point above the relegation zone.

The Disciplinary Committee will now sit Friday in Abuja after it was initially slated to meet Thursday.

The committee will sit in judgment of three NPFL matches –

Kano Pillars vs Dakkada

Kano Pillars vs Katsina United

Niger Tornadoes vs Lobi Stars
